Pros: They come to your house and design something that works for you. Good prices. Cons: Really unreliable. They were very late. We ended up living without a kitchen for a month and they only got to us after threatening not to pay them. Their designer (Shimon) made promises that later the owner (Daniel) did not keep. To top that, they tried to get us to pay more than we initially agreed on. We got no compensation for the very late supply date (promising to finish until a set date was one of the reasons we went with them in the first place).
I started out with the original kitchen supplied by my builder. I lived with that kitchen for 18 years until I decided that I had had enough. Luckily, I employed Itay of "79". From the beginning I was impressed by his designer Daniel's careful assessment of what was necessary and his patience in explaining everything to me [even when he had an important meeting to attend]. I was surprized to learn how complex the process was. Itay chose first class sub-contractors and was always available to nudge them when necessary. I have learned a lot and enjoyed working with Itay until next time (in say 15 years) Chaim
I came across their free online guide that advises step by step on what to think about each part of the kitchen. Provides important and concise information, and gives a lot of food for thought as we progress with our kitchen designers (do not go with them because we build through a contractor, so there is a company of his own). Thank you!
The advice you posted definitely gave me tools for planning the kitchen when I met with the designer and the carpenter Thanks
Daniel, The tools you have prepared for choosing the right kitchen for the client, simply professional and exhaustive, have helped us a lot in making decisions in planning and ordering a kitchen. Well done for the professional and thorough work. Everyone must use these tools before ordering a new kitchen.
