I only went there for a family affair I was invited to. The staff was nice. The decor was dark and gloomy. This restaurant is definitely a meat restaurant, so I wasn’t able to eat the main dishes, but what I could eat was just OK – the usual salads, hummus, tahini, and pitas. Nothing special. (I didn’t visit the bathroom, so I can’t comment on its cleanliness.)
Tiny salad for 32 NIS. Not a side dish, a separate starter. A significant amount of space taken up by a lemon quarter which was neither in the description nor wanted. Total waste of money. Two stars as everything else, while over priced was delicious and more fairly portioned.
The restaurant has a nice decor and a nice calm vibe. Plenty of parking space. However, we ordered a gold platter which was supposed to be enough for 4 adults but was just about for 2. For 425₪ it was just not enough on the plate. Couple of items on the menu were not available which is very annoying after searching and finally deciding on an item and then the answer is "not available" not just one but couple of them. The taste was very average and did not live up to expectations at all. The smoked beef was very tasty. And french fries were correctly done.
We were a group of 8. Many of us just ordered the house burger which was fine. Nothing was great except the company! After 10 days in Israel some of the meat restaurants are all starting to taste the same!!
A little cold in the restaurant. But the food was good, we weren't dependent on the service too much, so hard to gauge. We had the gold mixed grill platter and it was good for two adults and 1 almost-teenager who is a good eater. Would definitely go back again.
